Skip Boyd and Diana Higbie were married September 3, 1965 in Garnett. They had two children. Charles Russell Boyd, Jr. "Russ" was born August 6, 1966 in Rhode Island. Buffy Lynn Boyd was born June 11, 1970 in Ottawa.
Skip and Diana divorced in 1970. She is remarried and lives in Topeka.
Russ graduated from Salina High School in 1984 and then went to Emporia state where he received his Masters degree. He works for a mental health facility in Emporia as head case manager. He counsels physically and mentally abused teens. He was married July 3, 1992. His wife, Kathy is a social worker. Russ and Kathy have two children, Dylan Russell born in 1996 and Emma Grace born in 2000.
Buffy attended K-State for a year and then Washburn University for a short time. She now lives in Corpus Christi, Texas where she is Revenue Manager for the Holiday Inn in Corpus Christie. She has a 2-year-old daughter named Lyrik Ylana.
